Business Start-up

Prior to setting up your business there are a number of things you need to consider:

We offer advice on each item and will complete all the necessary forms and registrations, allowing you to concentrate on getting the business up and running.

 

Almost every new business requires a business plan before starting in business. Aside from the fact that banks and lending institutions will demand one, it is good practice to complete a plan to ensure that you have fully considered areas such as marketing, pricing etc which will enable you to assess how profitable the business can be. We have significant experience in preparing business plans.

 

We offer a full range of support services including book-keeping, completion of VAT returns and payroll processing. In addition we are happy to provide advice and training to you or your staff so you can maintain the records etc.

 

Every business requires to prepare a set of account at least once a year. We will advise you on the type of book-keeping system required to minimise the work we have to do to prepare the accounts, helping you save money. If required we can advise on accounting software packages and arrange training for you or your staff. When your accounts are completed we will discuss them with you and offer advice on future business strategy and any other issues arising such as tax saving ideas etc.

 

 

For some companies they require more frequent reporting either for their financial backers or to assist them monitor the business performance. We can offer monthly, quarterly management accounts together with a report and presentation service to the management team, and if required the financial backers. 

 

 

Whether you are self-employed or a limited company strict time limits apply to submission of tax returns. We operate an computerised tax system which utilises on-line submission of all returns, ensuring that the deadlines are adhered to. In addition we offer advice on all tax related matters.
